If a picture says a thousand words, in this case 900 of them would be wrong.

It's actually not bright out at all, (in fact quite dim), and it's pouring rain and strong winds. Luckly we found a nice picnic shelter just as the worst of the storm got to us. After the Scouts ate their dinner here the tornado siren started to blow so they all took shelter in the handy restrooms on the back side of the shelter, (storm shelter bathrooms no less).

By this point it was down below 60 degrees, and all the Scouts were wet, and no one really wanted to go check out the dam, (much less ice cream at that point), so after the storm finally blew by we headed back to the place where the parents were going to pck up the Scouts.
