At the top of the tower some of the Scoutmasters (ok, it was me) marveled at how few bullet holes were in the tower.  Some of the younger Scouts agreed that the Park Service had done a good job of fixing it up after the battle.  We then discussed how good the Army Engineers were in those days to have erected the tower in the middle of the battle.  (Isn't it amazing that they believe anything we say?)
