February 17 All Day Skiing

Don't miss the fun or the bus! We will be leaving from the Church at 8 AM and returning there at 5PM. In between the boys will have a great time down hill skiing at Wild Mountain. Never skied? No problem! Also for boys who want to earn the Skiing Merit Badge be sure to do your pre-work before so you can complete the badge that day if possible. No evening meeting

Walagazu Saturday April 19

Mark your calendars for this annual competition between troops. It will be held at the NE Armory from 9:30-3:30. There will be knot tying competitions and other skills will used at this fun event.

Congratulations to Joe!

Joe Huot had his Eagle Ceremony at the December Court of Honor. It's a wonderful accomplishment that took effort and perseverance on Joe's part! The rank of Eagle is one to be proud of as it signifies a Scout's commitment to make the most of himself. He learns and practices leadership, service to others while gaining new skills and experiences. Being an Eagle Scout can open many doors for young men. Congratulations Joe!

Troop Scholarship for Post High School Education

Applications are now being accepted for any Scout that is a sophomore or above. B average is needed to apply and financial need is not required. This spring a $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to an outstanding Scout from Troop 33. To borrow from Wayne Gretzky -- "you miss 100% of the shots you don't take." Talk to Dave for an application.

June Trip

We will be having a short trip this summer right after school is out. Watch for details about the adventure. If interested in planning the trip
