December 2 - Regular Meeting & Board of Review Scouts should complete rank requirements prior to this meeting. Last BOR before the Court of Honor. Call your patrol leader if you have questions.

Can't eat without YOU! - We need 5-6 people to help set up and about 5-6 people to clean up after the December Court of Honor. Please call Ellen, our faithful volunteer coordinator, at 925-3841to make sure everyone can eat!

Court of Honor December 9 - As you guessed from the blurb above it's time for our December Court of Honor. No cooking needed on your part - just show up and enjoy! The KFC dinner is a favorite for the boys and families alike. Tickets for dinner ar $5 each or $20 for a family. Please arrive by 6:15 on Monday December 9. Court of Awards, wreath prizes and much will be part of the evening. Court of Honor is important as our sons receive public recognition for their achievements in Scouting.

E-mail Addresses Needed - Please send your "best" e-mail address to Bob Fulton at: xxxxx Your "best" e-mail is the one the parent checks the most often. Often, last minute updates need to go out and we want to make sure they go to an address that is read frequently. If you are already receiving e-mails on the "best" address, please volunteer to help with the Court of Awards dinner (see above - just kidding, but we really need the help!) When you send your e-mail please be sure to include your son's full name so Bob can connect it together.

Web-site - Have questions about the troop? Want to see pictures of the trips and camporees? Do you know a fifth grade boy looking to join Scouts? Any of these situations, plus many more, can use the Troop 33 web-site for handy information and interesting facts. Ted Mclaughlin has done a tremendous amount of work to make this site so useful and important. Past issues of newsletters are also there for reference. The Web-site is listed on the back of all newsletter. Take a look at it today and bookmark it as a favorite! Thanks for all the hard work Ted!

Oppps!- Be sure to pick up wreaths on Saturday Nov. 16 from 10:00 to 12:00 at the Engquist's.. The original map that was sent out has a slight error on it. The wreath pick up is at the home of Jim Engquist at 6212 Wyman Ave. in Edina. This is the same location as the last several years. Thanks Jim for all your help! Very important: If you can not be there between 10 and 12, please make arrangements for someone else to pick up your wreaths. Take 62W to Tracy exit (west of 100) At the exit go straight across Tracy (do not turn right or left). You will be on Valley View Road - follow this and it will eventually turn left and become Hansen Road. Shortly after the turn, you will see Maddox Lane on your right. Turn right onto Maddox and go one block to Wyman. Jim's on the right side on the corner of Maddox Lane and Wyman. If really lost here is his phone - 952-929-9497

Wreath Lock-In Locked Up - If you fully participated in the holiday wreath sale you can celebrate with an overnight lock-in for the Troop. The fun starts Saturday night January 18th at 7pm and goes through 7am Sunday morning. Please come to the Armory at 1025 Broadway St. NE. At the corner of Broadway and Central in Minneapolis. Please note that this is a change from the tentative date published earlier.

Want to help the troop on your own time? Then you may be a great person to continue the newsletter! I've enjoyed publishing this newsletter as it is fun, helpful and I can do most of the work on my own timeline and schedule. I would like to transition to a new volunteer either this winter or spring. After 4 years of doing the newsletter it's time for someone else to put their mark on it. (That doesn't mean the new person has to do it for the same length of time!) Please call Nora or Bill if you are interested or just want some more information.
