Troop 33's 90th Anniversary Celebration!! (and Troop 100's 25th as well!!)

On Sunday, October 12th, Troop 33 will celebrate 90 continuous years of Scouting excellence at our annual Scout Sunday event.  EVERY Scout, parent, alumni, and interested guest is encouraged to attend the 10:30am service at Westminster Presbyterian Church, (which has been gracious enough to Charter us for all 90 of those years.  As part of this celebration Troop 100 will be celebrating it's 25 anniversary as well.

As part of that day there will be the regular Pancake Breakfast which will be raising money for Camp Ajawah scholarships.  Please stop down and have a few pancakes and help send some kids to camp.

At the 10:30 service there will be a 'moment for scouting', at which Art Nelson will address the congregation about how much Scouting has had an impact on his life.  Art was a long serving Clerk of the Westminster Session, (the top Lay position in the church), as well as being a former Troop 33 Scout and camper at Camp Ajawah.

After the 10:30 service is done there will be refreshments served in the social area of the church. On display will be pictures and slide shows of the first 90 years of Troop 33.   There will also be commemorative t-shirts available to help remember the occasion with.

Please join us in celebrating this wonderful milestone that VERY few Troops ever get to celebrate.
